Kathryn is the President of the AppleGate Recovery brand of within BayMark Health Services. She brings over 25 years of experience in the fields of mental health and substance abuse, as well as a passion for advocacy in the behavioral health field.
Kathryn began her career with work for the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, and moved forward as a Director for psychiatric and substance abuse programs, all while maintaining a private counseling practice. Her vast experience, and awareness of the growing need for substance use disorder treatment, culminated in the founding of AppleGate Recovery. An LPC-S in Texas and Louisiana, Kathryn has also served as Board Chair and member of various civic and charitable organizations over the years. She completed her degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, and her Masters degree in Counseling and studies for her MBA at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
