BayMark Health Services Celebrates Those In Recovery During National Recovery Month 2017

BayMark Health Services, the nation’s leading provider of outpatient, medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction, is proudly honoring and celebrating our patients and others in recovery during National Recovery Month.

For the past 27 years, SAMHSA, through its observance of National Recovery month, has highlighted the achievements of individuals who have reclaimed their lives in long-term recovery and honors the treatment and recovery service providers who make recovery possible. It also promotes awareness of actions we can all take to expand the availability of services for those in need.

Through its treatment brands BAART Programs, MedMark Treatment Centers, AppleGate Recovery and The Coleman Institute, BayMark celebrates the courage, hard work and success of our patients through recognition and appreciation activities in our clinics, participation at community rallies and awareness events, and also through participation in national organizations working to improve access to life-saving use disorder treatment nationwide.

This year, BayMark kicked off a Patient Success Story initiative, focused on sharing the compelling stories of our patients who have changed their lives through medication-assisted treatment. These stories offer inspiration and hope to those still suffering the deadly disease of opioid addiction. The stories are told through our various blog posts, and are also used in posters, flyers and other materials to help others gain an understanding of opioid addiction from an individual’s personal experience and reduce the stigma often associated with opioid use disorder and medication-assisted treatment.
