Residential Addiction Treatment

BayMark Health Services understands that recovery looks different for each person we serve. We offer residential addiction treatment programs, often referred to as rehab or inpatient treatment, for those struggling with a variety of substance use disorders (SUD) including both prescription and illicit opioid use disorder, as well as alcohol, amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, and other problem substances. Our individualized recovery-oriented programs may start during the inpatient stay but continue post-discharge with options for transitional treatment including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and recovery residences, commonly known as sober living.
At BayMark, we offer both traditional abstinence-based residential services and customized inpatient treatment plans tailored to the individual. Depending on the treatment plan, the length of stay can range from a week for those transitioning to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) outpatient services to up to 30-60 days for those working towards maintaining abstinence without medication support. Following up with outpatient and intensive outpatient care may also help to reduce the length of inpatient treatment stays.
Inpatient treatment provides a safe, effective and structured program to help individuals navigate their personal road to recovery. By focusing on quality of care and our patients’ lifelong path to recovery, our programs have helped many individuals achieve healthier and more productive lives. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team members are skilled in delivering personalized care, support and guidance. Our residential addiction treatment centers utilize evidence-based practices to provide patients with real-world tools needed to lead a life in recovery. Recovery takes many forms, and our patients have a say in which biological, psychological, social and spiritual approaches they want to participate in.

What Makes BayMark Different?

BayMark Health Services broad continuum of care and evidence-based practices set us apart from other inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities. The things that make BayMark different are some of our greatest assets in treating those living with addiction.
  • Flexibility: BayMark offers both short- and long-term inpatient options based on the treatment plan developed collaboratively between the treatment team and patient.
  • Expertise: BayMark operates not only residential facilities but also a variety of outpatient, medication-assisted treatment programs and withdrawal management facilities, also known as detoxification or detox.
  • Innovation: BayMark utilizes many evidence-based treatment therapies that are traditionally seen as conflicting, but modern treatment is seen as part of a long-term plan for success including multiple levels of care.

Benefits of Residential Treatment Programs

Residential treatment centers (RTC) are an excellent option for those just beginning, continuing, or revisiting their recovery journey. Patients have the opportunity to separate themselves from the people, places, influences, and situations that may have contributed to their substance use disorder (SUD). The vast benefits of an inpatient program have made it a go-to treatment type for those struggling with a variety of addiction disorders.

Making the decision to fully immerse oneself in a residential treatment program can be very effective in promoting long-term recovery. By providing 24-hour care in a comfortable, non-institutional setting, patients can reap the positive benefits of consistent clinical and peer support while enjoying more independence than is found in a hospital setting. While stepping away from established routines can be difficult, the ability for patients to focus solely on their recovery can be transformational. Time spent understanding their addiction and the choices and behaviors that resulted from the disease help to break unhealthy patterns and learn more effective coping skills. This period is also used to explore the different types of aftercare to make the right choice for their needs.

Residential addiction treatment programs are designed to meet people where they are in their recovery journey, promoting insight, providing education, and supporting lasting change. Individual treatment plans are developed and modified for each individual patient as they learn, change, and grow throughout their stay. Our programs offer a variety of services which vary by center and include:
  • Medical detoxification services
  • Residential treatment services for drug, alcohol and other substance addictions
