BAART Programs Durham Relocates to New Facility

Newly Remodeled Building Offers the Opportunity to Serve More Individuals in Need of Opioid Addiction Treatment

BAART Programs Durham, a BayMark Health Services Company, announced today that it has moved to a newly remodeled facility. Previously located on S. Mangum Street, the new building is conveniently located at 800 N. Mangum Street, a short 5 minutes away from its former location.

BAART Programs, formerly BAART Community HealthCare, has been serving the Greater Durham community with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling services for opioid addiction since 2007. The new facility has been constructed to offer a comfortable, convenient environment much like any modern physician’s office.

The newly renovated location offers more than 1,500 square feet of additional space with offices to accommodate several new counselors. The technology to run the clinic efficiently and safely has been completely updated from computers to phones, including the installation of a security camera system as the safety of our patients and staff is a top priority. Most notable is the addition of a third medication window and 2 designated group counseling rooms. Patients will continue to receive the high quality care they have come to expect, while enjoying the benefits that come with remarkably updated facilities.

“BayMark is proud of our focus on patient convenience and comfort,” said Frank Baumann, COO of BayMark Health Services. “Opioid addiction is a chronic disease we are becoming far too familiar with as a nation, and the need for treatment continues to grow. Our mission is to provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment and help to improve the lives of the patients we serve in an environment conducive to recovery and healing.”
