BayMark Health Services Announces New Location In El Dorado, Arkansas

BayMark Health Services is pleased to announce the opening of a new outpatient facility for the treatment of opioid use disorder today as part of their AppleGate Recovery brand. Currently there are AppleGate locations in both Louisiana and Texas. This is the first BayMark clinic to open in Arkansas.

AppleGate Recovery provides medication-assisted treatment, with buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds, also known by the brand names, Suboxone® Zubsolv®, and Bunavail®. In addition to medication services, the new AppleGate Recovery clinic provides a thorough intake assessment, ongoing medical evaluation, lab services and individual and group substance abuse counseling, all under one roof.

“We are very excited to bring our compassionate, collaborative and discreet treatment programs to those struggling with opiate addiction in Southern Arkansas, where currently limited services are available”, said Dr. Phillip Isherwood, Medical Director at AppleGate Recovery. “The office-based treatment setting allows patients to receive medication-assisted treatment in a more convenient way, while still offering the individual and group counseling that is such an integral part of addiction recovery.”

Kathryn Thomas, President of AppleGate Recovery, remarked, “Our goal when we founded our first clinic was to offer a warm, family environment where our patients know we are available to help them through the entire process of recovery. We stress to our clients that addiction is a disease, not a lifestyle choice, and strive to provide an environment free of judgement, instead supporting patients who seek to improve their lives and the lives of their families.”

AppleGate Recovery El Dorado is located at 403 West Oak Street, Suite 105, AR 71730.
