BayMark Health Services Announces New Location In Sugar Land, TX

BayMark Health Services is pleased to announce the opening of its 7th AppleGate Recovery branded outpatient facility for the treatment of opioid use disorder. Despite the ravaging impact of Hurricane Harvey which devastated the area last week, BayMark made the decision to press ahead and open its doors just one week later than scheduled. AppleGate is now available to help individuals suffering from opioid addiction get the help they need in rebuilding their lives.

AppleGate Recovery provides medication-assisted treatment, with buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds, also known by the brand names, Suboxone®, Zubsolv® and Bunavail®. Additionally the clinic provides substance abuse counseling following a thorough intake assessment, as well as ongoing medical evaluation and lab services, making it unique in its approach to office-based addiction treatment services.

Kathryn Thomas, President of AppleGate Recovery, remarked, “AppleGate was established to offer a caring, confidential environment to seek treatment for opioid use disorder. We stress to our clients that addiction is a disease, and our staff focuses on supporting patients who seek to improve their lives and the lives of their families.”

“BayMark continues to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment options to the people of Texas in response to the worsening opioid epidemic,” shared Dave White, Ph.D., CEO of BayMark Health Services. “In addition to the AppleGate clinics, BayMark offers traditional opioid treatment programs in 7 locations across Texas, and we will maintain our focus on improving access to treatment both in our home state and across the county.”

AppleGate Recovery Sugar Land is located at 50 Sugar Creek Center Blvd., Suite 250, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
