BayMark Health Services Opens First AppleGate Recovery In Kentucky

AppleGate offers much needed outpatient medication-assisted treatment for adults utilizing Suboxone® and counseling in Northern Kentucky.

AppleGate Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, announces the opening of their first outpatient clinic in Kentucky for the treatment of opioid use disorder. AppleGate Crestview Hills provides medication-assisted treatment with buprenorphine and in-house counseling to help those struggling in the northern Kentucky area.

“In 2016, 74.9 prescriptions for opioids were written for every 100 Kenton County residents. That same year, more than 1,400 Kentucky residents died of a drug overdose.” shared Susan Cambria, Division President for BayMark Health Services. “AppleGate offers individuals struggling with prescription or illicit opioid addiction a way out so that no one has to become a statistic. Our goal is to offer hope.”

AppleGate Recovery Crestview Hills provides medication-assisted treatment through the use of buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds, also known by the brand names Suboxone® Zubsolv®, and Bunavail®; as well as newer medications including SublocadeTM and Vivitrol®. In addition to medication services, AppleGate provides individual and group counseling, as well as lab and case management services. Our evidence-based approach to recovery uses medication to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings in conjunction with counseling to address both the causes and consequences of addiction.
