MedMark Treatment Centers El Paso Now Accepting Texas Medicaid

MedMark Treatment Centers El Paso, a BayMark Health Services Company, announced in September it is now accepting Texas Medicaid, making quality, evidence-based opioid addiction treatment more accessible to the people of El Paso.

MedMark Treatment Centers El Paso, formerly known as El Paso Methadone Maintenance, offers medically supervised, outpatient methadone maintenance treatment supported by individualized counseling, relapse prevention education and community resource referrals.

Grace DiArizona, a former counselor at El Paso Methadone, returned to MedMark Treatment Centers as the Treatment Center Director this year. Well-known and respected by long-time patients and the local recovery community, Grace said, “We are so pleased to be able to accept Medicaid and commercial insurance, which is so critical for patient’s ability to access our services.”

In addition to traditional Medicaid, the following Managed Care Organization (MCO) products are also accepted:

  • Amerigroup
  • El Paso First
  • Molina

If a patient has commercial insurance that offers out of network Methadone Maintenance Substance Use Disorder benefits, MedMark will work to obtain treatment authorizations.

“Our priority is to provide high quality, individualized substance abuse treatment to those struggling with opioid addiction. Being able to accept Medicaid allows us to provide treatment to more people in need of service, and increased access will be critical in combatting the growing opioid epidemic in this country” said Frank Baumann, COO of BayMark Health Services.
