Medmark Treatment Centers Opens Second Outpatient Opioid Addiction Treatment Center In Ohio

BayMark Health Services companies focused on improving access to opioid addiction treatment.

BayMark Health Services announced today the opening of MedMark Treatment Centers Lebanon, its second opioid treatment program (OTP) in Ohio. MedMark Lebanon will provide medically-supervised medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling and support services for adults struggling with opioid addiction. The clinic, located at 1521 Walmart Drive, is now accepting patients.

“Ohio has experienced nearly unmatched loss of life as the opioid epidemic continues to ravage the Midwest. The growing use of fentanyl and carfentanil contributed to 70.7% of Ohio’s unintentional overdose deaths in 2017,” noted Frank Baumann, COO of BayMark Health Services. “Medication-assisted treatment with counseling has proven time and again to be the most effective method of recovery for individuals battling the disease of opioid use disorder, particularly those using extremely high doses of illicit medications such as fentanyl. MedMark Treatment Centers offers individuals struggling with this disease access to life-saving treatment.”

MedMark Treatment Centers are known across the country as providers of quality, individualized treatment for opioid use disorder utilizing methadone and buprenorphine. MedMark Lebanon will support the use of MAT with addiction education, relapse prevention, lab testing, coordinated care for pregnancy and linkages to community resources to assist patients on their path to recovery. The mission is to provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other health care services to foster wellness, longevity and socially responsible behavior for the patients we serve.

Chief Executive Officer David K. White, Ph.D. added, “BayMark, through our various treatment brands, focuses on the goal of improving access to the right treatment type for each patient we serve. The expansion of our medication-assisted treatment programs in Ohio is a part of that focus, and we’ll continue to work to address areas of Ohio in need of meaningful, effective treatment options. In addition to traditional MAT, BayMark offers inpatient withdrawal management and Suboxone® treatment in Ohio. No matter the treatment type, what we really offer is hope.”
