BayMark Health Services Opens New Opioid Treatment Program In Attleboro, Massachusetts

BayMark brand Health Care Resource Centers expands much needed opioid treatment services into Bristol County.

BayMark Health Services announced the opening of Health Care Resource Centers Attleboro (HCRC), its eleventh opioid treatment program in Massachusetts offering comprehensive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone. The clinic, located at 23 North Main Street in Attleboro is now accepting patients. In addition to treatment with methadone, HCRC Attleboro provides counseling and support services for those struggling with opioid use disorder, and is planning to offer buprenorphine/Suboxone® in the near future.

MAT, when combined with counseling, has been proven to be the most effective treatment for opioid addiction. The comprehensive approach is individualized to meet the needs of each patient. Additional services include addiction and relapse education, coordinated treatment during pregnancy, in-house lab services and referrals to community resources to assist patients in rebuilding their lives.

“Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the opioid epidemic continues to plague Massachusetts, which led to our expansion of services into the Attleboro area,” shared David K. White, Ph.D., CEO of BayMark Health Services. “BayMark will continue to focus on our primary goal of expanding and enhancing treatment programs, offering each patient proven treatment options to meet their specific needs. We do this to improve the lives of not only our patients, but their families and communities.”

In addition to eleven Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) offering treatment with Methadone and buprenorphine, BayMark operates six office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) programs throughout Eastern Massachusetts which provide buprenorphine/Suboxone®, as well as a unique three to eight day outpatient withdrawal management program in Wellesley, MA. All BayMark programs offer in-house or referral-based counseling services and other psychosocial interventions to support recovery.
